- Let me introduce myself in a few words: I am a sport scientist also working for the German Sport University Cologne to develop the field "Sport for Development" in the Institution. I have had a focus on sport and development in my studies. I wrote a master’s (German Diploma) thesis that dealt with the important topic: I had the chance to evaluate a short term pilot project in Namibia, which was organized by myself (http://namibiaproject-sportsanddevelopment.blogspot.com/). Before I finished my studies I worked five month in a soccer project ("YESS project") in South Africa. I am highly motivated to continue my engagement in the field of sport for development. I believe in the universal power of sport as a powerful tool for development, peace, friendship and more..... (`Plus Sport`)
